This Is What A Pregnant Amy Schumer Looks Like

Amy Schumer is pregnant. Not literally, but she posted a mirror selfie of her in a pregnancy prosthetic with the caption, "What to expect."

What to expect

A photo posted by @amyschumer on

Although Schumer and her boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, seem to have adopted a puppy, it doesn't appear as though a baby is on the way. Even if one was, Schumer looks more than ready to handle herself. She's got Jameson, Patron, a coffee, and enough plastic cups to give a large group of her friends refreshments while they tell her about the dangers of fetal alcohol syndrome.

We're joking, of course, but it does get us excited about the possibly of a pregnancy sketch on Inside Any Schumer. It's almost hard to believe that she's still even doing the sketch show as her star has gone supernova since filming the last season, but it should be returning in short order.

The history of comedy pregnancy is a long one. The most recent notable example is Julia Louis Dreyfus, who played a fake pregnant and fake blind District Attorney in Arrested Development. Louis Dreyfus also figured notably in Amy Schumer's "Last Fuckable Day" sketch in the second season of her show.

What Award-Winning Porn Stars Do Offstage & Offscreen

Each year, porn performers, industry insiders, and fans gather in Las Vegas for the Adult Video News Awards, known as the "Oscars of porn," to crown and celebrate porn's best— and to have a little fun. Photographer Roger Kisby, who returned to the AVN Awards this year for the third time, says that the event's playfulness is what keeps drawing him back.

"I like covering events where people are not afraid to be who they are," he tells us. "There's a genuine enthusiasm and fun [at the Awards]."

This year, Kisby injected that playfulness into his work at the Awards by photographing seven AVN Award-winning performers in a wry series inspired by Terry O'Neill's iconic "Morning After" portrait of Faye Dunaway, which depicts the star the morning after winning an Oscar for her performance in 1977's Network.

"[O'Neill] did this beautiful photograph of her at her hotel by the pool having breakfast," Kisby says, "and she has the award and she's in her bathrobe, and there are newspapers of the headlines from the Oscars from the night before."

Dunaway likely didn't imagine that, 39 years later, porn's brightest luminaries would emulate her by showing off their awards in intimate moments away from the crowds and cameras (besides Kisby's, of course).

Most Of Marc Jacobs' Bags Are Now Under $500, Thanks To A New Business Strategy

Marc by Marc Jacobs may have met its untimely farewell, but there will still be semi-affordable (read: well under $1K) items to ogle bearing Jacobs' name. Most of Marc Jacobs' accessories — for spring '16 and beyond — will retail for under $500, WWD reports.

Marc Jacobs' CEO, Sebastian Suhl, estimates that 70% of the brand's accessories inventory will retail for under $500. This new strategy — which Suhl calls "a unique selling proposition"— went into effect for the latest delivery of spring '16 pieces, which landed in stores and online last week.

Instead of separating luxury and contemporary price points, it places lower-priced styles alongside four-figure silhouettes made from exotic skins, or embellished with embroidery. The majority of handbags in the Gotham (like the bucket bag, saddle bag, hobo bag, and small shoulder bag), P.Y.T., and Madison silhouettes come in at a more traditional contemporary price range.

It could just be the fix for those pangs you've been experiencing for Marc by Marc Jacobs ever since the diffusion line announced it would fold into its parent company in March 2015 in order to focus and streamline the Marc Jacobs voice. What made Marc by Marc appealing to many was its contemporary price point: It allowed those who couldn't afford Marc Jacobs proper to buy into the brand. (Although Marc by Marc developed its own totally cool voice under the creative direction of Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley, making it more than simply a cheaper version of Marc Jacobs.)

This move also helps with brand positioning. Whereas before the designer's various labels occupied different sections of the department store — Marc Jacobs could be found in designer handbags, while Marc by Marc Jacobs resided in contemporary — Suhl explains that all the handbags moving forward would fall into the former category. "It’s a designer brand," he told WWD. "It’s one that, again, is the only designer brand able to market most of its product at a democratic price point."

The Broad City Season Three Trailer Is Finally Here & It's Hilarious

A person's preference of Broad City or Girls says a lot about them. While Girls is ostensibly more realistic and less madcap, Broad City has a certain quality that is instantly identifiable to a certain kind of broke NYC twentysomething. While the women of Girls have gone and gotten real jobs and suffered real life events, Broad City remains charmingly adolescent.

The new season will be back February 17 and we've just gotten our first look at it in a trailer released earlier today.

"One stop pussy shop," is how Ilana Glazer describes a combination gynecologist/bikini waxer in probably the best line of the trailer.

And the pair are back seemingly without skipping a beat. Ilana is still wearing insane work outfits. Abbi is still struggling to figure out her life. In the trailer they discuss straight women using Grindr, being recognized from Instagram, and basically too much other stuff to name.

One week seems almost too long of a time to wait, but either way it'll be a great antidote to any leftover Valentine's Day blues.

Outfits For Any Type Of Valentine's Day Celebration

No matter your relationship status, February 14 is a fun time to tune into the annual debate of "fanciful opportunity for grand gestures or overrated commercialized holiday." Both camps — the romantics and the self-proclaimed realists — have their own gripping arguments, but this isn't a this-or-that situation. It's 2016, and there are myriad ways to spend V-Day: Galentine's Day, elaborate at-home dinners, doing you — and wearing whatever you like while you're at it.

Point being, the day of love can definitely be celebrated without blowing your month's grocery budget on a bottle of decent Champagne (unless that's your thing, then by all means; and yes, we'd love to join). No matter the way you choose to ring in the day, we've got your outfit needs covered — from the single ladies, to the longtime loves, and everyone in between.

— SPONSORED —

Galentine's Day
Relationship or not, you always make time for the forever loves in your life: your girl gang. Try frayed denim, a silky off-the-shoulder blouse, and block heels, so you'll be down for wherever the night takes you. And spritz on your favorite fragrance, like Viva La Juicy's sparkling floral blend, to kick your flirty look up a notch.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Rosé, $94, available at Macy's; Pixie Market Keepsake Foundation Top, $129, available at Pixie Market; Walk of Shame Fringed Trousers, $349, available at n-duo-concept; & Other Stories Chain Drop Back Rhinestone Earrings, $19, available at & Other Stories; Won Hundred Pia, $320, available at Won Hundred

Casual Concert Date
Maybe your relationship is just heating up, or you're reaching the dreaded “are we, aren’t we” phase. If a fancy date seems a little over-the-top for your current relationship status, don't sweat the situation. Grabbing some concert tickets for the night will show you're appreciative of the new S.O. in your life — without the pressure of a grand gesture. Grab your favorite booties and a flirty pair of high-waisted jeans and dance the night away.

Jean-Michel Cazabat Chunky Heel Ankle Boots, $561.77 $393.24, available at Farfetch; & Other Stories Flared Denim Jeans, $95, available at & Other Stories; Wilfred Free Marloes Sweater, $110, available at Aritzia; Zara Contrast Material City Bag, $49.90, available at Zara; Express Skinny Scarf, $14.90, available at Express.

Netflix & Chill
When you and your S.O. are more of a night-in kind of duo, spend the day just as you would any other: cuddled up on the couch bingeing on your new TV obsession, until things heat up (it is still V-day, after all). While a sweater dress and slippers say "casual and comfy," sliding a lacy set of lingerie underneath is a sexy surprise. That loose-fit dress provides easy access once you escalate to the "chill" portion of the night.

Chicnova Fluffy Sweater Dress with Split Hem, $32.90, available at Chicnova; Erica Weiner<3 Heartbeats Necklace, $55, available at Erica Weiner; Ugg Australia Fur Slippers, $141, available at Mytheresa; Gooseberry Endless Triangle, $65, available at Goosberry; Gooseberry Endless Tanga, $45, available at Gooseberry.

Sporty Outing
If your boo's outlook on V-Day involves the words "commercialized" and "overrated," that doesn’t mean all celebratory activities are off the table. Try something thrifty you can both enjoy that’s sure to be fun and just as bonding. Whether it's bowling, seeing a game, or going for a hike, there are plenty of ways to keep the day casual. Pop on jeans and your favorite tee — you're not in it for the fancy dinner.

Alexander Wang Trap Boot-Cute Cropped Jean, $275, available at Alexander Wang; Aldo Fulia, $70 $35, available at Aldo; Simon Miller Bonsai Bucket Bag, $390, available at Barneys New York; Topshop Petite Contrast Stripe Top, $38, available at Topshop; Hansel From Basel Large Polka Dot Crew, $18 $12.99, available at Need Supply Co.

Treat-Yo-Self Night
You don't need a partner to score a fancy night out. Celebrating Valentine's Day solo is an underrated choice. Dolling up for nobody but yourself means you can wear your favorite trendy pieces without any confused judgement after all (hello, longline blazer and nifty, confusing patterned clutch). Shower yourself with love this year and happily pick up a cheaper check for one. To pregame your own date, we advise blasting our favorite "Love Myself" anthem.

Topshop Column Strappy Maxi Dress, $150, available at Topshop; Zara Stone Ball Earrings, $15.90, available at Zara; Nicholas Kirkwood Leda Suede-Trimmed Glittered Mesh Pumps, $775, available at Net-a-Porter; Shein Black Lapel Single Button Long Coat, $71.77 $43.78, available at Shein; Charles & Keith Origami Detail Clutch, $59, available at Charles & Keith.

The Gilmore Girls revival is in full swing. Most of the original cast is back, with a few notable exceptions, and now Amy Sherman-Palladino has announced that another of her coterie of talent will be joining as well. Sutton Foster, late of Sherman-Palladino’s beloved Bunheads, will join the cast, TV Line reports.

We don’t yet know if Foster will play a new character or reprise her role as Michelle Simms from the late Bunheads. There might be some intellectual property hurdles to clear, but it isn’t such a stretch to see Michelle make her way from Paradise to Stars Hollow.

Our dream would be for Sherman-Palladino to take the opportunity to tie a bow onto both series. We still don’t know the results of Michelle’s Los Angeles audition, nor do we know the fates of the rest of the characters in the Sherman-Palladino universe. Now if only they can work out their scheduling conflicts with Melissa McCarthy, we’ll be all set.

Netflix did their part to welcome Foster to the show, with the tweet below.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have a love story straight out of When Harry Met Sally... Neither of them, however, is Harry or Sally.

During a special Entertainment Weekly Radio town hall on SiriusXM, the Deadpool star revealed that he and his wife bonded on a double date. The trouble was, he and Lively were dating other people. They were the Jess and Marie.

"We were buddies then," the Sexiest Dad Alive shared. "I remember it was funny because for about a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and all that stuff, we were both single. We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl.

"That was the most awkward date for the respective parties probably, because we were just like fireworks coming across," he joked. "It was weird at first, but we were buddies for a long time. I think it's the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."

Note to self: Become friends with someone who looks and acts like Ryan Reynolds. Got it.

These Are Going To Be Fall 2016's Top 10 Colors, According To Pantone

There may be a lot of change-ups on this season's New York Fashion Week calendar, but we can always reliably crib some new trends that will be everywhere six months later (if not sooner). And thanks to the color-predicting wizards at Pantone, we also have some foresight into the hues we'll be wearing constantly in the near future.

The Pantone Color Institute's biannual fashion report, released each season on the first day of NYFW, highlights the shades that are bound to dominate the collections. Fall 2016's top 10 are heavy on the blues as well as reddish-brown shades. Also, there are six colors that are brand-new to the Pantone universe. You definitely won't have to overhaul your closet: Spring '16's dominant color story (softer hues intended to bring calm in an increasingly busy landscape) and Pantone's Colors of the Year are still relevant for fall '16.

“If you look at this season’s entire palette, the idea of comforting blues coming to the top of the list again shows that people are still searching for that reassurance,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, said in a press release.

These uplifting blues (a deep one called Riverside, as well as the lighter, aptly titled Airy Blue) appear alongside dependable, but unexpected, neutrals, like Sharkskin gray and Spicy Mustard yellow; all of those shades pop against the rest of the top 10, like warmer Aurora Red and pinkish-purply Bodacious. The report's big themes, according to Eiseman, are stability and confidence, as seen in reliable colors in bold shades.

The similarities between the spring and fall reports don't end there. There are a lot of nature references, like in seasons past; this time around, the earthy vibes come courtesy of vibrant earth tones like Dusty Cedar and Lush Meadow. Pantone notes that designers are once again drawing from fine art for inspiration — specifically seen in the contrast between the fluidity of abstract patterns and the clean decisiveness of graphic lines. And like spring '16's selection of shades, the palette featured in this season's report is gender-neutral.

The Pantone Color Institute surveyed 21 designers about their color choices for fall '16. Ahead, preview these designers' sketches, which incorporate the season's top shades (or similar hues), before the looks hit the catwalk. Plus: Find out which shades they never thought would end up in their designs.

A pop of red is a perennial hit, season after season; Fiesta was spring's in-demand rouge. For fall, it's all about Aurora Red (18-1550), which we'll be seeing on Christian Siriano and Bibhu Mohapatra's runways.

Christian Siriano

What colors will be most prominent in your Fall 2016 collection?
"The collection will have a mix of vibrant Red, which is classic, powerful, and elegant, paired with soft heather grays and a citrus chartreuse. As the collection progresses [on the runway], so does the color. The colors are bold, vibrant, and powerful."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"I love green, but it's sometimes a hard color to work with. I hope to explore it more in the next few seasons!"

Bibhu Mohapatra
What's the most important color in your fall '16 collection?
"Empress Red; I was inspired by a recent trip to The Forbidden Palace in Beijing, China."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Dragonfly Teal, because it compliments the heightened colors in this season's collection."

Warm Taupe (16-1318) emerges as the stand-out neutral for fall '16. You'll spot it in Iris Von Arnim's latest collection, paired with rich browns and other creamy shades. Outside of the neutral family, though, Pantone highlights its ability to complement all the other colors in this season's report.

Iris von Arnim

What's the most important color in your fall '16 collection?
"Espresso Brown, which has a grayish, not reddish, shade. It works well with our other key colors, Nude, Amethyst, and Cognac. For silks, furs, knits, and leather, we chose lighter and darker versions of this Espresso tone. For the knits, we specially washed the yarn, adding an optic depth to the color."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"We utilized Cameo Pink, which is an unusual color for us. Once we saw it in combination with Deep Lichen Green as a contrast color, we realized [Cameo Pink's] flamingo hue gains a unique beauty."

Lush Meadow (18-5845) recalls the great outdoors — specifically, the rich foliage that gets lost so quickly once the temperatures start to dip. (Luckily, our wardrobe can remind us of warmer times.)

Tadashi Shoji

What's the must-have item for fall 2016?
"There's a lot of sex appeal for fall — sheer illusions, high slits, and ornate bead work — to emulate the artistry and appeal of body art. Some must-have items of the season include a sexy Pirate Black lace and velvet gown with cut outs and a Hunter Green and Bran embellished shift dress with an oversized Hunter Green and Pirate Black faux fur jacket."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"While it's inevitable to avoid black, I tend to gravitate towards warmer tones that make me happy. This season, though, I fully embrace black; it adds a level of boldness and sexiness to the collection."

It may be the year of Rose Quartz, but Dusty Cedar (18-1630) makes the case for a more muted pink for fall '16. Spot it among the colorful prints at Rachel Pally.

Rachel Pally

What's the most important color in your fall 2016 collection?
"This season, our colors are so complementary and work beautifully together as a group. That said, Inca Gold is a show-stopper, yet it's also so wearable because of how muted it is. This color makes our foliage print pop and brings vibrancy to the whole collection."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Purple! We used to say it was our least favorite color, but we’ve been using variations of Violet and Plum for the last few seasons; we’re loving it and the way other colors play off of it."

In line with the search for calm that symbolically rules this season's palette, the name of this shade — Potter's Clay (18-1340) — channels the laborious process of creating something by hand. The hue belongs to a more traditional fall color scheme, mingling brilliantly with other shades of brown and orange.

Katherine Kung of Kung Katherine

What inspired your choice of colors?
"My recent trip to Tokyo and Kyoto was the inspiration for this collection as well as the basis for the color story. The reflection on the pond of Kinkaku-ji (Temple of the Golden Pavilion) surrounded by deep green Japanese pine trees is probably one of the most beautiful sites I have ever visited. The image really stayed with me; I guess I must have subconsciously pulled from that memory when designing."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Mustard Orange is a very rich yet particular color. It can be tricky to work with, but when you pair it with the right outfit or accessory, it's an absolute show-stopper."

Pantone thinks that Bodacious (17-3240), a deeper alternative to 2014's Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, is a testament to the increasingly gender-neutral color palettes we've seen on the runways in recent seasons.

Rubin Singer

What inspired your choice of colors?
"My fall' 16 collection is based on a mathematical function, so I've used Black and white as the base colors of the collection. Staying true to the brand's DNA, I built on this and included the colors Bone, Pale Orchid, Slate, Peacock, Sage, Cement, Teal and Chrome."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Right now, I'm attracted to anything in the Orchid family, in particular the pale shades. I always felt these colors looked old and dusty, but all of a sudden, they've started to look good to me."

Spicy Mustard (14-0952) confirms our beliefs that a darker yellow hue has a place in our go-to fall color palette, alongside shades of burgundy and navy. The citrus-y shade will pop up a lot as an accent, both in prints and embellishment, in the upcoming collections, according to Pantone.

Charles Borg and Ron van Maarschalkerweerd of Charles & Ron

What colors will be most prominent in your fall '16 collection?
"Cardinal Pink, Warm Red, and Saffron Yellow, which are featured in a graphic colorblock and stripe pattern. These colors are mixed with Rich Classic Camel and highlighted with Black."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Rich Classic Camel is a new color for us; we were attracted to this color because it's the perfect neutral. It created the right color balance together with the more vibrant shades in the collection."

Could this finally mean the dawn of the groutfit? Sharkskin (17-3914) acts as a neutral on Pantone's fall '16 report, easily matching up with both bright and soft shades (and looking just as lovely when worn head-to-toe) in a modern and unexpected fashion.

Taoray Wang

What colors will be most prominent in your fall '16 collection?
"Different shades of gray are most prominent, as well as accents of Burgundy and Violet."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Violet: I'm using it because it looks beautiful and compliments gray."

Christopher & Nicholas Kunz of Nicholas K

What colors will be most prominent in your fall '16 collection?
"Aubergine, Amethyst, Mauve, Chestnut, Mocha, Cocoa, Carbon, Black, Beige."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Aubergine, because it complements various skin tones and looks great with neutrals."

Peter Trainor and Anne Marie Maniegoof Max ‘n Chester

What colors will be most prominent in your fall '16 collection?
"Warm and cool grays, Charcoal, and Navy."

What inspired your choice of colors?
"We always like to work with neutral tones and fibers."

Bree Telford of QUINN

What colors will be most prominent in your fall '16 collection?
"Tone-on-tone mixing and the addition of an accent color to neutrals play heavily into the collection, like Coconut Milk mixed with Pure Cashmere in textural geometric jacquards, or shades of Ivory and Coconut Milk for tone-on-tone play.

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Sepia Rose: It's subtle, versatile, delicately feminine, and works as a solid color or mixed within patterns and textures."

"The color Blue is fundamentally important to the human eye as a stable icon of the balance in our universe," Eiseman explained in the press release. Riverside (17-4028) is the darker shade of blue featured in Pantone's fall '16 color report — and also one of the most predominant. It'll take shape as casual outerwear at Rebecca Minkoff and as elegant embellishment at Lela Rose, tying together a range of aesthetics and warm color combinations.

Rebecca Minkoff

What inspired your choice of colors?
"The color inspiration came from my idea of the global traveler. Who that girl is and what she sees while on an adventure is reflected through her clothes."

What's the most important color in your fall '16 collection?
"An important color focus for our fall 2016 collection was the tonal mix of warm Reds: Rumba Red and Barbados Cherry, juxtaposed with contrasting cool hues, like Surf the Web."

Lela Rose

What inspired your choice of colors?
"Jonas Wood served as an early inspiration for the collection, especially with his use of geometrics and botanics. There's an exploration of leaves and the graphic geometry inherent in their patterns. Leaf shapes and patterns can be seen in prints, embroideries, jewelry details, and even shapes in the collection."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"The vibrant hue of Oxblood: It’s not only beautiful, but extremely wearable. It compliments other tones in the collection. I love incorporating it into different silhouettes, whether it be a botanical fil coupé dress or a placed-lace sheath."

Don O'Neill of Theia

What's the most important color in your fall '16 collection?
"Rio Red is the most important color this season. This rich red, soaked in blue and brown undertones, is divine in saturated crepes or richly embroidered evening gowns. The color is sublime when paired with the darkest Midnight and, with lamé metallic yarns added, [creates a] gorgeous marriage of colors."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Oxblood is the color that I would not have used in the past. It has always been a difficult color at retail. However, this season it feels so right."

Angela Taylor George of Alice & Trixie

What colors will be most prominent in your Fall 2016 collection?
"The gemstone is our muse for fall '16, so there's Intense Lapis, Bold Emerald, Sparkling Sapphire, and Clear Aquamarine, with accents of Peridot. Hints of Russian Ruby and Amethyst also join the party."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Dark Chocolate Brown is on my mind recently. This luxe color used as an accent done the right way can elevate the palette. I particularly see this color in suede."

David Hart

What inspired your choice of colors?
"I was inspired by the musical recordings of the Blue Note Jazz record label and photographs by Francis Wolff along with Reid Miles' graphic design."

What's the must-have item in your fall '16 collection?
"It's the merino wool turtleneck, which should be worn under a suit. We're offering it in Blue Note, Oxblood, and Stone Grey."

Marcia Patmos of M. Patmos

What inspired your choice of colors?
"I was inspired by Japanese 'boro' quilting, vintage European army blankets, and army surplus sweaters, British 'schoolboy' scarves, a photo from 1959 of Jean Seberg in Aran knit sweater, and paintings by Robert Motherwell."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Biking Red: it looks so great in vintage schoolboy scarves mixed with classic neutrals like Navy and Grey Heather."

On top of Riverside, there's also a lighter shade called Airy Blue (14-4122), which is closer to (and builds on) the soft vibes of Serenity, Pantone's other Color of the Year. The report indicates that many designers incorporate both Riverside and Airy Blue into their collections.

Nicole Miller

What is the most important color in your collection for Fall 2016 and why?
"I love Cobalt Blue for winter, because it has a richness to it. It also gives prints a boldness, which I find important."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Ice Blue, because although I have never been big on winter whites or pastels in fall or at any time of the year. I do like how the Ice Blue gives a very wintery feel to the collection. I prefer it in conjunction with dark colors, rather than on its own."

Yoana Baraschi

What inspired your choice of colors?
"Haunting botanicals as found in Japanese prints. I have been looking a lot at the work of Keika Hyakushiki. His prints of chrysanthemums are both frightening and divine. His evocative illustrations of flowers seem to embody the modern spirit; they are in constant flux and motion, the colors are rich and spare, and the lines are delicate but direct. There is something very commanding in these prints that I found both inspiring and relatable."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"Little Boy Blue: in the past, as the name says, I would have thought it is a men’s or boy shirt color. Well, the sky is the limit with women’s rights."

Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa ofNoon by Noor

What's the most important color in your fall '16 collection?
"Trooper, which is statement color that has a very subtle feel."

Which hue are you now attracted to that you wouldn't have used in the past?
"We make sure to use colors that we are always attracted to, so in this collection, there aren’t any that we have changed our minds about!"

Andrew Lincoln Admits His Love Actually Character Was "A Stalker"

Walking Dead fans know him as Rick Grimes, but to us, Andrew Lincoln will forever and ever be Mark, the world's worst wedding videographer and crummy best man from Love Actually. He's the one who woos Keira Knightley with a bit of poster board, despite the fact that she's just married his best friend. It's supposed to be romantic, but comes off as creepy and backstabbing.

Just ask Lincoln, who admits that Mark's love-sick behavior was a little over the top.

"He is a stalker," the British actor told The Wrap. “That was my question to [director] Richard Curtis. ‘Do you not think we’re sort of borderline stalker territory here?’ And he said, ‘No, no. Not with you playing it, darling. You’ll be alright.'”

Nope. Still a stalker.

It's not lost on Lincoln that Mark's affections only scored him a pity kiss, and not an actual date.

"I quite like the fact that I’m in one of the most romantic movies playing the only guy who doesn’t get the girl," he said.

Tough break. Team Peter all the way.

American Idol Top 24 Live: Meet The Biggest Turtle-Lover On The Planet

The swaybots are fully charged, Ryan Seacrest is wearing a goofy jacket, and the venue — the Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles — looks like a church. A shotgun wedding so Idol can cram it all in by April? Why not? Let’s do this!

Wednesday’s slapped-together installment of The Great American Idol Burnoff featured 12 of the top 24 contestants performing solos on the altar as the judges blinked in vague recognition of something they’re supposed to do. When J.Lo’s not even wearing hair extensions, you know it must be dire. In an unprecedented “goodbye to all that goodwill” move, it’s the producers — not viewers! — who’ll pick the top 12. They don’t care what you think, and they might even prefer it if you didn’t watch. Isn’t this fun?!

Here’s my ranking of the wannabes, from trainwreck to Tina:

12. Emily Brooke, “I Am Invincible” The “country comeback kid” might want to stick to collecting autographs for her guitar. The song (by Cassadee Pope, winner of The Voice) was way too low for her register. Sorry, but I don’t tune in to see 17-year-olds shaking in fear. I’m here for the skanky outfits and “artistry,” dammit!

11. Jordan Sasser, “All by Myself” I almost put him higher because he’s “the biggest turtle-lover on the planet” and owns a turtle visor, underwear, and statues, but the 27-year-old worship leader went wrong in attempting to embody Celine Dion instead of, like, Donatello or something. (Someone? #TurtlesArePeople) Keith Urban’s assessment of Jordan’s cover as “a little too theatrical” was the understatement of the season.10. Jeneve Rose Mitchell, “Angel” I’ve had it with this dork’s homespun nonsense! Blame it on the harp, I guess. Points for ingenuity, but Jeneve never nailed down a tempo during this classic ode to sad homeless pups or a doomed Meg Ryan (depending on your preferred pop cultural standpoint). Sarah McLachlan could roll around on her piano and sound better.

9. Gianna Isabella, “I Put a Spell on You” Having to watch someone so young and gawky attempt the emotional maturity of Annie Lennox was chilling to say the least, and I wish to never fall under this spell again at any cost. Harry Connick Jr. craftily knocked both Gianna and the show by calling her “clearly a student of American Idol” with just the slightest air of disgust. It might have been more, but the ennui was that overpowering.

8. Jenna Renae, “My Church” We’ve barely seen Jenna in the farewell season so far, but if the judges want a country gal, they might need to reconsider this confident boot-stomper with a fringed skirt for days and stage presence for miles. Too bad her vocals pooped out at the end. Overall, I’d call her a much less annoying version of season 10’s Lauren Alaina.

7. James VIII, “Love Lockdown” His Kanye West cover was a bit muted but overwhelmingly competent. He was dancing in place with sort of a “cool guy” vibe… I don’t hate him, is basically what I’m saying. Keith Urban, an expert on walking the fine line between chill and indulgent, thought James was “too chill,” and Harry wondered, “When is it gonna start getting more complex?” like a college student pretending to give a shit in class.

6. Thomas Stringfellow, “Creep” The 17-year-old’s emotional connection with an audience full of robots was truly something to behold, but I simply cannot abide by this twerp’s affected vocal stylings. It’s like he won’t allow himself to pronounce ANY SINGLE SYLLABLE in the (scoff) “typical” way. I swear he turned the word “a” into “aiiioy.” So gross. The producers love him.

5. Stephany Negrete, “Mamma Knows Best” She’s the one Idol’s plopped at the top of every show because she’s a taller version of Nicole Scherzinger with less of a soul, but! Shinier hair. It’s quite a combo. According to J.Lo, she’s the total package. I’m guessing they’ll keep her around for eye candy. No one would vote for her.

4. MacKenzie Bourg, “Say Something” This Ed Sheeran-y kid and his near-perfect whispery solos scare me a little, because there’s really nothing I can make fun of him for. Sure, he has carefully disheveled hair and hipster glasses, but who doesn’t? It’s 2016! We’re all just trying to survive!

3. Avalon Young, “Love Yourself” Her “I’m a tomboy, deal with it” agenda will grow tiresome if they keep lazily smooshing it on us, but the 21-year-old’s easy charisma is undeniable. She got right up in the swaybots’ faces and even touched some hands. It was stunning.

2. Sonika Vaid, “Safe and Sound” The judges go nuts for her beautiful voice every time (Keith might have thrown his neck out while jolting awake from her first few notes), and the wardrobe team did right by their new My Little Diva doll by swathing her in a resplendent purple gown. I like Sonika because she loves the way sheet music smells. Whenever a baby mentions the distant analog world, I’m sold. That’s how low my standards are. No, it’s fine. I’m doing great. These American Idol recaps definitely matter.

1. La Porsha Renae, “Proud Mary” Sure, the 22-year-old Mississippi call rep straight-up copied Tina Turner, but why wouldn’t you? This might be the low standards talking again, but that was the best damn karaoke I’ve ever seen. And I love that La Porsha taps into “the creative space” by listening to film scores instead of current hits. Production is pimping her out big time, but it’s hard not to root for someone with such a huge voice compared to all the screeching and hiccupping babies.

See you tomorrow for the utter tragedy of former Idol champions (not the famous ones) duetting with the contestants!

12 Super Romantic Places To Elope

$

This post was originally published on August 26, 2015.

To some, the term “elope” still conjures images of hasty lovers stumbling into clandestine chapels, or frugal pairs looking to save a few pennies on the guest list.

But elopements have changed.

Today, they’ve become an intimate alternative to a traditional wedding, where the details matter less than the vows being exchanged. No longer taboo, eloping is an incredibly romantic and wild way for adventurous couples to profess their love in some of the most stunning destinations around the world. Here are a few of our favorite romantic places to sneak away to say "I do."

(Note: Be sure to check out the local embassy’s marriage requirements and restrictions before eloping in a foreign country.)

Bled, Slovenia
Not only does the country literally have love in its name, but the storybook village of Bled is one of the few destinations around the world with a romantic tradition just as beautiful as the scenery that surrounds it.

Bled, Slovenia (Continued)
In the middle of the town is a lake; in the middle of the lake is a small island; and on the middle of the island is a tiny church, perched high above the water.

Bled, Slovenia (Continued)
Local tradition calls for grooms to carry their bride up the steep 99 steps to ring the wishing bell inside the Church of the Assumption of Mary, before heading back across the lake in a wooden gondola to share a slice of Bled cream cake on the veranda at the Grand Hotel Toplice.

Tokyo, Japan
Think the irony of planning a private ceremony in the most populous metropolitan area in the world is lost on us? Not quite. Tokyo is a city of contrasts; it’s at once ancient and new, imperial and rustic, quirky and traditional, urban and pastoral.

Tokyo, Japan (Continued)
It’s a city where almost anything can happen, from climbing 52 stories to say your vows at the highest stand-alone chapel in the city, to attending a robot wedding, to saying “I do” under an umbrella of pink petals during hanami (cherry blossom) season.

Park City, Utah
Utah’s lax legislation on marriage restrictions makes it a piece of cake to elope there, and it doesn’t hurt that the state also offers some of the most romantic landscapes and unique activities in the country.

Park City, Utah (Continued)
It may be known as a ski resort town, but the slopes around Park City make a picturesque backdrop for a romantic celebration at any time of year.

Park City, Utah (Continued)
Opt for a small private ceremony atop Bald Mountain at the breathtaking Deer Valley Resort (accessible via chairlift). Or, exchange vows inside a mountain at the Homestead Crater, before taking a romantic full-moon lift ride up the peak at night. Either way, the beauty of eloping is that you won't have to share the cake!

Gretna Green, Scotland
This little village in the south of Scotland is the unofficial birthplace of eloping. Couples have been running off to make their bond legal in this village since the mid 1700s, when marriage restrictions in England prompted couples to cross the Scottish border to become husband and wife.

Gretna Green, Scotland (Continued)
The phrase “running away to Gretna Green” has been used in romantic literature for centuries, and it’s easy to see that the town’s charming pastoral scenes make a great romantic backdrop for any love story.

Sydney, Australia
Despite housing a population of roughly 4.8 million people, this harbor city has an undeniably intimate and remote vibe.

Sydney, Australia (Continued)
Maybe it’s the more than 20 hours you have to spend on a plane to get there, or maybe it’s the romantic hidden gems to be found throughout the city.

Sydney, Australia (Continued)
From the dreamlike QT Sydney Hotel, whimsical custom picnics, starry-eyed outdoor cinemas, and hard to reach heights of the city, it doesn’t get much better than fleeing to the secluded shores of Sydney for a one-of-a-kind escape.

Turks & Caicos
Part of the genius of eloping on Turks and Caicos is that it forces you to stay put in paradise. This British territory requires couples to be on the island at least three days before saying "I do," and then pauses their return for three more days after the vows to process the marriage license.

Turks & Caicos (Continued)
That’s six days of “required relaxation” and beachy bliss. Consider it the island’s elopement gift to you.

Turks & Caicos (Continued)
Not sure how to fill your time during your mandatory exile? Might we suggest taking a sunset horseback ride along the beach, spending the day on a secluded island, or even extending your stay to enjoy a free night at The Somerset on Grace Bay with their romance package?

Cusco, Peru
Seal your sacred vows high in the heart of the Andes near the Sacred Valley, in Peru’s crowning city of Cusco.

Cusco, Peru (Continued)
The city is gilded with romantic gems for couples, including the chance to drift to sleep above ancient Incan ruins in the JW Marriott El Convento Cusco, watch the lamplights flicker on after dusk at the Plaza de Armas, sip coca leaf-infused cocktails at Limo, or even take a day trip to explore the ruins of Machu Picchu.

Bali, Indonesia
Boasting breathtaking sunsets, lush landscapes, and a vibrant local culture, Bali has long been regarded as one of the most romantic destinations in the world.

Bali, Indonesia (Continued)
It’s here that couples can get lost together among the butterflies and rice fields at the Campuhan Ridge Walk, bathe in a pool of 500 red roses at the Spa on the Rocks, take a flavorful journey through Indonesia’s finest ingredients above the Valley of the Kings at the Cascade Restaurant, and stroll around the temple gardens at the Taman Ayun Temple (pictured).

Tremezzina, Italy
Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe, the stunning scenery alone is enough to make anyone fall in love with this Italian lakefront village on Lake Como.

Tremezzina, Italy (Continued)
The Grand Hotel Tremezzo makes it easy for soon-to-be spouses to immerse themselves in la dolce vita. Offering some of the most amazing accommodations in the area, the hotel is without a doubt the best place to book a romantic stay while in town.

Tremezzina, Italy (Continued)
There, couples can watch the sun set while sipping Prosecco on a private boat tour, relax in a private spa room for customized couples treatments, and luxuriate in plush robes on a private terrace overlooking Lake Como in the romantic Suite Maria.

Salzburg, Austria
Salzburg is steeped in romance and history, from the glistening waters below in the Salzach River to the spectacular spires towering above the city on the Fortress Hohensalzburg.

Salzburg, Austria (Continued)
The city set the scene for The Sound of Music more than 50 years ago, but today it's the perfect storybook setting for couples to write their own romantic tale. Spend the day meandering beneath Baroque architecture, tasting your way through the city’s numerous breweries, or cycling among the natural lakes and soaring mountains on the Tauernradweg cycle path.

London, United Kingdom
If London hasn’t already seduced you, it will as soon as you disembark the plane. London is one of the most inspiring cities of all time, acting as the birthplace for some of the most romantic writers of all time, from John Keats to Lord Byron.

London, United Kingdom (Continued)
In fact, English poets Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning chose London's St. Marylebone Parish Church for their elopement back in 1846.

London, United Kingdom (Continued)
From choosing a bouquet at the Columbia Road Flower Market to renting a rowboat in Hyde Park before heading to afternoon tea at The Goring Hotel (where Kate Middleton spent the night before her wedding), London offers a poetic start to any eternal romance.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Though often thought of as a party capital, New Orleans is also one of the most amorous cities in America.

New Orleans, Louisiana (Continued)
Spend the morning splitting beignets at Café Du Monde, steal a kiss on a streetcar, make a wish in the Jackson Square fountain, and rendezvous at Café Amelie for a secluded courtyard dinner. Then, snuggle into a booth on Frenchman Street for some live jazz before returning to the ethereally elegant Windsor Court Hotel for a late-night custom cocktail and a four-diamond night’s sleep.

"Is Online Dating Different For Plus-Size Women?" by Cece Olisa

"Yes, it’s taking me longer than most people (or seemingly longer than all people) to meet someone. Luckily, the thing that keeps me from screaming at bare walls is patience. I stay sane thanks to the calm knowledge that the universe doesn’t owe me anything; I already have quite a lot, and I can wait for the rest."

"2,190 Days Without 'I Love You'" by Shani Silver

"I'm only human, and that love was very real — maybe the realest one yet. It took him knowing me, it took me trusting him, it took us being honest with each other — all elements of a great friendship — to understand what the best version of our relationship can be right now. We’re two people who shared something special, and will always care about each other, but we can’t co-exist in a healthy way at the moment."

"Can You Really Stay Friends With An Ex?" by Christine Sulik

"Not only will I stop looking at the Instagram accounts of the people I am sleeping with (I'm talking about checking their tagged photos and their activity; it's fine to follow them like a normal person), but I also vow to stop inspecting their ex-girlfriend's Instagrams. And the girls whose photos they are 'liking.' It’s best to just not go there, or I end up reading into things too much."

"9 Dating & Sex Resolutions" by Martha Flynn

"Four weeks A.D. (After Dissolution), I had already exhausted a number of coping mechanisms: I had listened to the new Adele album, binge-watched Jessica Jones, and eaten cookies for dinner. But since my breakup, which happened to occur the day after I ran the New York City Marathon, the one self-care action I hadn’t been taking was working out."

"How ClassPass Helped Me Recover From An Awful Breakup" by Acacia O'Connor

"My partner, Ryan*, and I are non-monogamous. When we first opened things up two years ago, we both hooked up with people separately, but we were also eager to engage in our first threesome. This turned out to be a challenge."

"My Boyfriend & I Got A Girlfriend — & This Is What Happened" by Alicia Morgan

"It’s not that sex stopped. (We actually had sex even before we were supposed to, five weeks after our baby was born — and yes, I had an episiotomy.) It’s that it changed. Sex has been part of my life since I was a teenager and I was pretty confident that I knew what it felt like and how to do it. I was wrong."

"6 Things No One Tells You About Sex After Childbirth" by Claire Litton-Cohn

"I spent all my spare time with the two of them and quickly developed a sense of comfort within this new role. People would often presume I was her mother when we were out, and we all behaved as though I was. At two years old, she was still wearing nappies and learning how to form coherent sentences, so it was far easier for me to step into this type of relationship than if she’d been older. We were both developing new skills, and this helped to bond us."

"What I Learned From Falling In Love With A Single Father" by Katherine Phillips

"I went to three festivals this summer without him; I don't think he viewed my muddy Doc Martens with the slightest bit of resentment. But I’ve also had to learn to give more importance to quiet time, and to actually schedule them in. We may be opposites, but I'm still definitely attracted enough to my opposite to clear the diary for him."

J.K. Rowling's Message For Fans Struggling With Anxiety Is So On Point

J.K. Rowling has a long history of standing up for the underdog — and being a champion for what's right. She slammed Serena Williams' body-shamers. She silenced haters on the subject of same-sex marriage. She emphatically encouraged a young Egyptian woman to keep up her spirits and ambitions in the face of systemic oppression. And need we even mention how she gave the world a character to forever root for in the form of Harry Potter?

Well, now the author is at it again. Fans recently started tweeting her questions about the daily anxieties and depression they endure. It was fairly heartbreaking stuff.

"I'm a Gryffindor but my anxiety keeps me from being a true Gryffindor a lot recently," wrote one Harry Potter fan on Twitter. "Am I still a Gryffindor despite that?" Rowling had the best response — frankly, one we could all probably stand to hear every so often.

"Of course," Rowling wrote back. "Being anxious isn't who you are, it's something you're feeling. It will pass."
What's more: She inspired other HP fans to share their own stories and send messages of support to one another — proving once again that she's not just a talented author, she's also a pretty magical human being.

Justin Bieber's relationship status has been in flux for the past year or so, and once the lingering threads between him and Selena Gomez were irrecoverably severed, it appeared that new ones were forming between him and longtime friend, Hailey Baldwin.

In his GQ cover story he revealed just how strong his feelings were for Baldwin, saying she was someone he "really loved" and that they "spend a lot of time together." Which is super sweet and all, and maybe he meant to add "as friends" but he didn't. And Baldwin decided to set the record straight.

"We are not an exclusive couple," she told E!. "He's about to go on tour. Relationships at this age are already complicated, but I don't really like to talk about it because it's between me and him."

The two first started serious rumors about their relationship when they posted heavy PDA photos around the holidays.
Baldwin would like to continue whatever is going on between them in private. Although, this might be a bit difficult considering her modeling career and her family name.

"I am very open on social media, but that's why I don't like to talk about certain things," she said. "It really is my personal business. And I like to think my relationships are not between me, the person, and the whole entire world. It's hard. I don't think people are really able to understand if they're not in that position."

Maybe now's a good time for Bieber to take up Rebel Wilson on her offer. She's definitely not afraid to proclaim her interest in him.

All he wants is somebody to love, guys. It is almost Valentine's Day after all.
